Doctor Who 50th

One of the greatest things I've ever seen on tv. I think it was how beautiful the graphics were, how cute Tennant and Smith were together, and how vulnerable the Doctor was. I just started blubbering throughout. Oh and Tom got the following texts:

"David Tennant is yelling at a rabbit"

And This unforgettable quote: "Great men are forged in fire. It is the job of the lesser men to light the flame"

Brilliant! Fantastic! Geronimo!

And a final: allons-y!

Current Obsessions

I've got a BIT of free time lately and here's how I've been spending it: Fraiser on Netflix, Sims FreePlay on my IPad, and The Truth About Style by Stacy London in book form. I've got to have a few things to wind down. Some may not be intellectual but a little bit of fluff makes us all a better person.

PS. The above photo has nothing to do with anything, but she just looks so darn cute relaxing on the couch.

Seven Month Ago I Went On Vacation

Whelp... Life gets busy. So my goal for life until the New Year is to blog the important moments of 2013. While it is still 2013.

In March I took of to Liverpool to visit my guy. Long distance relationships are tough, but Tom and I make sure we don't go too long without seeing each other. I had also never met his folks. It was awesome! There were some special places he really wanted to show me.

The Albert Dock in downtown Liverpool: I actually went here three years ago. Before Tom and I were together. It was interesting looking around with someone from the city, and not with my tourist friends. He told me some of the stories he knew and we strolled the cobblestone sidewalks.

Ormskirk: This is a teeny town that has a street market certain days of the week. We went early and had some breakfast in a cafe. Then we walked around the market, and up some of the streets to see the cathedral. This couple in front just fit in so well so I had to snap a picture of the back of them. I'm a creeper I know.

Crosby Beach: it was so flippin col, but we had to make two trips here. It's just lovely. There is a huge art instillation of these Iron Men that you can only see when the tide goes out. We went once to see them appear and another time to see them disappear. Oh and we got ice cream. We are hardcore like that!

It was so dear to me to see where my love came from. Liverpool now feels a bit like a hometown to me. I saw it through his eyes. Can't wait to go back!
